Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

What is a CSA Program?

Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program provides our members with a regular selection of fresh produce, weekly or bi-weekly, directly from our farm throughout the growing season, from June until October (18-20 weeks).

We take care in creating a well-rounded assortment of seasonal vegetables and herbs so that you can enjoy a diverse medley of local produce at it's absolute freshest.

How does it work?

We offer a limited number of spaces for our program and members sign up prior to the start of the season. The season will run between 18 and 20 weeks. The first shares of the season will be ready the first or second week of June, while the final shares of the season will be toward the end of October.

Like all farms, we're subject to whatever weather or natural pressures come our way. We work creatively and diligently to do our best to prepare and adapt to all challenges but the unexpected is still possible.

That said, we've never missed an order!

Weekly or Bi-Weekly Shares

Shares throughout the season are made up of an assortment of fresh vegetables and herbs. Whatever is in season and ready for harvest that week is what goes into our shares.

Our crop plan for the 2023 season includes...

Beets, Carrots, Beans, Onions, Basil, Leeks, Peas, Peppers, Kale, Radish, Garlic, Cherry Tomatoes, Parsley, Zucchini, Butternut Squash, Acorn Squash, Pumpkins, Spaghetti Squash, Cilantro, Sage, Dill, Parsley, Turnips, Swiss Chard, Spinach, Lettuces, Pak Choy, Salad Mixes, Brussel Sprouts, Microgreens, and Parsnips.

Why join our program?

There are a variety of reasons our members have joined our program.

Some have a keen preference for freshness and want to have your produce as soon as it's harvested. Others are thrilled with idea of receiving new and interesting varieties on a regular basis. There are many who are interested in supporting local food production, or undertaking measures to reduce their carbon footprint. And there are those that want to secure a reliable, regular and high quality supply of veggies for the whole season. Or very likely, some combination of the above!

By joining our CSA, you help support our efforts to supply local food banks with fresh, high quality produce. In 2019 we donated about 1,500lbs of fresh produce to our local food banks, in 2020 our donations reached 2,400lbs, and in 2021 we donated 3,500lbs.

In a nutshell, we strive to sell produce to those who can afford it, so we can give it to those who can't.
