‘Ace’ is one of the earliest bell peppers to ripen to red. In seed supplier trials, it was the first to colour up,  giving you sweet, fully red peppers sooner in the season. Plants are high-yielding and produce medium-sized, glossy green bell peppers that mature to bright red.
 
This variety is especially dependable in variable weather. It holds blossoms during cool or unsettled conditions, allowing it to set fruit when other peppers may stall.
 
We start our pepper seedlings indoors and grow them for 6–8 weeks under controlled conditions. Plants are timed to reach ideal transplant maturity around May 20th, which is generally considered a safe last frost date in our area.
 
Peppers can become stressed if overgrown in their pots, so we intentionally grow sturdy, balanced transplants that establish quickly once planted.
